Key Research Facilities for Glass-Care
Spektralion AS’s core asset is its intellectual capital. For research facilities and equipment, the company benefits from a close collaboration with NTNU in Gjovik, particularly with its Colourlab, as it is a recognised spin-off from NTNU, where Jon Y. Hardeberg is primarily employed. Additionally, Spektralion partners with the University of Bourgogne Franche-Comté, where Jean-Baptiste Thomas is a key collaborator.
People involved in Glass-Care
Spektralion AS focuses on three key actions: developing technical products and software to maximise the use of spectral data for both general and specific applications; conducting technical and market analyses to guide customers towards optimal imaging solutions; and supporting research projects from design through to technology transfer and exploitation. Additionally, Spektralion AS is an Associated Industrial Partner with the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master programs COSI (Computational Colour and Spectral Imaging) and IMLEX (Master of Science in Imaging and Light in Extended Reality). Their involvement includes supervising students’ master theses and contributing to program quality assurance. |
