NTNU-Colourlab has well equipped facilities and infrastructures of >200m2 for colour and spectral measurements with various multispectral imaging systems (filter wheel, LCTF, LED based, spectral filter array (SFA)), hyperspectral cameras in the Visible-NIR(VNIR) and Short Wave-IR(SWIR), portable spectral cameras, telespectroradiometer, spectrometers, colour checkers, reference materials, viewing booths, 3D acquisition hardware, robotic arm for multi angle measurements or Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI), high-end computational facilities and software for 3D and spectral image processing, NVIDIA GPU workstations and servers.

NTNU is a leading science and technology university located in three different cities: Trondheim, Gjøvik and Ålesund offering a vast variety of educational programmes and larger research and innovation environments, which already counts 4 Nobel laureates, at least 91 spin-off companies, more than 2000 ideas to innovative projects, 55 departments, and 120 research laboratories. NTNU has a student strength of 43000+, across 385 study programs (https://www.ntnu.edu/facts). In Glass-Care, NTNU will participate with a research group called Colourlab which is part of the Department of Computer Science (IDI), located at the campus in Gjøvik. Since its foundation in 2001, Colourlab (www.colorlab.no) has become an international leader on research in the field of colour imaging science, visual appearance measurement and understanding, image and video processing, and in several application areas including cultural heritage, medical imaging, etc.
